iKnow Suite
Two apps that explain your Mac, one key
iKnowMyDisplay tells you why a display is at 30 Hz, blurry or dropping out. iKnowMyMac tells you why your Mac is slow and what your USB devices and cables are doing. The Suite key unlocks both, on 1, 2 or 5 Macs.
iKnowMyDisplay
Plain-language diagnosis for external displays, a history of connects, drops and mode changes, and brightness, input and resolution controls.
What it doesiKnowMyMac
Shows what is slowing your Mac down and why, keeps a timeline of what happened, and logs USB devices and cable speeds.
iknowmymac.comBetter together, fine apart
- One timeline. With history on in both apps, iKnowMyDisplay shows iKnowMyMac's USB events next to display drops, so a dock reconnecting a second before a drop stands out.
- Jump between them. A USB port with a display on it in iKnowMyMac opens in iKnowMyDisplay, and a hub in iKnowMyDisplay opens in iKnowMyMac.
- Shared only on your Mac. The apps share events through a local folder on your Mac. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Each app stands alone. Neither needs the other installed.
