Refund policy
There's no free trial, so the refund is the trial: if iKnowMyDisplay doesn't help, you get your money back within 14 days.

14 days, no questions
Within 14 days of your purchase you can have a full refund for any licence: iKnowMyDisplay, the Suite or an owner-price licence. You don't need to give a reason. If you tell us what didn't work, we read every note, but it's never a condition.
Before you buy, the compatibility checker shows what to expect from your Mac and connection.
How to ask
- Write to support@iknowmydisplay.com from the email address you bought with, or include that address.
- Add your order number if you have it; it's on your receipt from Dodo Payments.
- We ask Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, to refund you. The money goes back the way you paid; how long it takes to appear depends on your bank.
What happens to your licence
A refund deactivates the licence key, and the app stops working as a licensed copy at its next licence check. Your history and settings stay on your Mac until you remove the app. Before uninstalling, remove the optional helper in Settings → Advanced, which also removes every display override file it wrote.
Owner prices
An owner-price licence (iKnowMyDisplay for iKnowMyMac owners, or iKnowMyMac for iKnowMyDisplay owners) is bought with an existing licence for the other app, and each licence can be used for it once.
- Refund the licence you bought it with (or charge it back), and the owner-price key bought with it is deactivated too.
- Refund the owner-price licence, and its key is deactivated; your original licence keeps working and can be used for the offer again later.
After 14 days
After 14 days purchases are generally final. If something has gone wrong, for example the app doesn't work on your Mac and we can't fix it, write anyway and we'll look at it fairly. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the law where you live.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong with a charge, please write to us first: a refund is quicker for you than a dispute. A chargeback deactivates the key the same way a refund does.
